Your Recruiters Limited is seeking a Finance Assistant in Loughborough to support day-to-day financial operations. The role covers sales and purchase ledgers, credit control, and general accounting duties within a busy team.

Ideal candidates will have experience across basic accounting processes, VAT/reconciliations, and proficiency in Sage/QuickBooks/Xero, plus strong Excel and communication skills. Immediate start with a 37.5-hour week.

Qualificações

• Solid understanding of everyday accounting processes and strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Sales Ledger, or Purchase Ledger roles.
• Knowledge of VAT and reconciliations.
• Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero or similar accounting software.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Confident in communicating with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Sales Ledger: prepare and issue invoices, allocate payments, keep records up to date.
• Purchase Ledger: process supplier invoices, match POs, reconcile statements.
• Credit Control: monitor balances, chase overdue payments, maintain relationships.
• Accounts Administration: maintain customer/supplier records, process expenses.
• Payment Processing: support supplier payments, issue remittance advice.
• Month End: assist with reconciliations and reporting.
• Communication: handle queries with customers and suppliers via phone and email.
