About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be integral to our finance team, managing daily data entry tasks and assisting across bank, sales, and purchase ledgers. You will also contribute to month-end reconciliations and other essential accounting processes to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter cash receipts, including bank transfers and credit cards, on a daily basis.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Input sales invoices and credit notes weekly and monthly.
  • Process and issue sales invoices as needed.
  • Maintain debtors trackers on a daily basis.
  • Support purchase ledger processing as required.
  • Post journals and handle other data entry tasks.
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated with first class (or 2:1).
  • Studying/or looking to study AAT or ACCA is preferable.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable:

  • Work experience in an accounts department preferable.
