Job summary

VisionFR Limited is recruiting a Progressive Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing content production agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the earlier stages of their finance career who is looking to build experience in a fast-paced, creative environment and develop towards a more project-focused accounting role.

Working closely with the Finance Director and production teams, the Finance Assistant will support day-to-day UK finance operations with a focus on accounts

Qualifications

• Some previous experience within an accounts or finance role, ideally with exposure to Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience of working in finance within events, production, creative, design, marketing, branding or advertising environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident building relationships with suppliers, colleagues and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and allocate costs to projects.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Process payments across different banking platforms and currencies.
• Reconcile company credit card transactions and resolve queries.
• Manage intercompany payments and recharges.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support day-to-day finance requirements and project accounting exposure.
