Job description

I am working exclusively with a growing business with offices based in the Harrogate (Ripon) area of North Yorkshire. As they continue to grow, they are looking to expand their finance team and have an exciting opportunity for a PT Finance Assistant to come and join them on that journey.

The position on offer is part-time, up to 25 hours a week (flexible on work pattern) and is solely based working remotely. Exact days and times are very flexible and will be candidate-specific to suit a wide range of needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assistance with processing of transactions to the ledgers.
  • Running reports, preparing calculations and issuing sales invoices for royalties and other items.
  • Assistance with organisational tasks such as meeting room and hotel bookings for internal team meetings.
  • Assistance with filing backups/reconciliation and organisation within finance.
  • Drafting (completing party details) and issuing legal documents for signature.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
Person Specification:
  • Previous accounting background.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to use various software such as internal data management systems and Docusign (full training will be given).
  • Attention to detail, organised and determined to resolve points thoroughly.
  • Able to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
