Robertson Bell is delighted to be partnering with a well-established public sector organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative finance team during a period of change and increased activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing external funding data via an online portal, including processing changes and verifying details
  • Matching receipts and importing them into internal systems
  • Chasing customers for outstanding payments and resolving related queries
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and assist with ad hoc queries
  • Supporting a variety of finance-related administrative tasks

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Excel, including lookups and formulas
  • Previous experience in a finance role – ideally within accounts receivable, billing or credit control
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
  • Availability to work full-time on site, five days per week
