Job summary

Spencer Group is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the finance team and develop experience across ledger activities within a busy finance environment.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, matching to orders, managing subcontract/purchase ledgers, and assisting with key account preparation while ensuring costs align with costing structures.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts/Finance office environment.
• Knowledge of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
• Excellent IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices from entry to cost and verification, including subcontract and purchase ledger.
• Match invoices to orders and highlight discrepancies following procedure.
• Assist with image storage checks and data verification.
• Support key account preparation tasks.
• Ensure all costs are entered according to costing structures.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the department.
