Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Finance Assistant to join a major multinational organisation on a 12-month contract based at Brize Norton. You will support financial planning, forecasting and control, working with the Finance Director and Controller to analyse costs and performance.

You will be involved in cash flow forecasting, cost centre reporting and procurement coding, with good Excel skills. AAT or CIMA is useful, government/MOD experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Some finance knowledge including debits/ credits, cash and P&L.
• Experience in cash flow forecasting and cost centre reporting.
• Proficient in Excel; AAT or CIMA helpful.
• Experience with government or MOD programmes beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse forecasts for costs, revenue and cash.
• Forecast resource requirements and associated costs with ops teams.
• Monitor actual costs and revenue against forecast with variance analysis.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and month-end processes.
• Liaise with procurement to recognise open commitments and costs.
• Provide financial analysis and management reporting.
• Support invoicing for internal and external customers.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
