Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking to expand your skills within a global organisation? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our collaborative and supportive team based in Cardiff. What you’ll be doing:
  • Accurately process purchase and sales invoices, including complex sales entries
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multi-currency accounts
  • Handle and resolve finance-related queries
  • Manage credit control activities
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Oversee weekly supplier payments
  • Reconcile company credit cards and manage expense claims
  • Liaise with our external accountant and support year-end audits
  • Provide financial support to internal projects as needed
  • Carry out general administrative and ad hoc finance tasks
What we’re looking for:
  • AAT qualified with practical experience in a finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proficient in accounting software (Sage 50 and Xero preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with multi-currency accounts is a plus
  • Ability to identify and escalate potential financial risks
  • You must already have the right to work in the UK
