Fairfield Trust is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to support the busy Finance department and assist the Head of Finance with day-to-day tasks. You will be a reliable team player, capable of multitasking and prioritising workload across a range of financial duties.

The role operates within a committed charity environment that emphasises safeguarding and collaboration. Applicants should be prepared to report safeguarding concerns as per policy; DBS checks apply for regulated activity.

All about the role:

The main purpose of the Finance Assistant role is to carry out the day-to-day tasks associated with the running of a busy Finance department and to ensure that the Head of Finance, Finance Manager and Senior Finance Assistant are kept aware of all significant matters relating to the Trust’s finances.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a real team player. We are seeking a confident individual who is able to multitask and prioritise their workload, with a willingness to turn their hand to a variety of tasks throughout the working day.
