West Mercia Police is seeking a Finance Assistant (Exchequer Services) to maintain the AP/AR ledgers, ensure timely supplier payments, and accurately record all income in the Finance system. The role includes advising on purchase-to-pay policies and is offered as a hybrid position (home & office).
The post is part-time (30 hours/week) with a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday pattern. Close date is 12 noon on Monday 28 September 2026.

The main purpose of the Finance Assistant (Exchequer Services) role is to ensure the effective day to day operation of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ledgers and to ensure that suppliers are paid correctly and on time and that all income due to the organisation is collected and accurately recorded in the Finance system in accordance with professional service standards.
