Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. We are seeking applicants for transactional finance roles to support a range of finance tasks, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank processing, and customer service.

Donor support across phone and face-to-face is also included. You will bring experience in high-volume finance administration within a complex organisation, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and finance systems.

Qualifications

• High-volume finance administration experience within a complex organisation.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to balance priorities and deadlines.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and databases or financial systems.
• Interest in probation period and opportunities to study further.

Responsibilities

• Carry out transactional finance tasks including purchase ledger and sales ledger.
• Process bank transactions and assist with customer service related to donors.
• Support donors across a range of methods including phone and face-to-face.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
