Job summary

IMA, a creative agency, is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations. You will help with invoices, expenses, supplier onboarding and reconciliations, ensuring records are complete and up to date.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel; AAT study or finance qualification is advantageous. A collaborative, values-led culture awaits in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as accounts assistant, finance assistant or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical information.
• Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/finance systems; well organised and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, correctly coded and approved.
• Support accounts payable and receivable tasks, supplier onboarding and payment processing.
• Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organised financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end tasks, reporting, VAT and finance queries.
