Finance Assistant - Credit Controller

6 month FTC - Opportunities to go permanent

Location: Brighton (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about finance? We're looking for a proactive Finance Assistant - Credit Controller to join our collaborative finance team based in Brighton. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working both from home and in the office.
You will play a key part in supporting the Credit Control function, ensuring debtor accounts are effectively managed, payments are received on time, and financial risk is minimised. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to the smooth running of financial operations, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Raise invoices, credit notes and issue statements

* Manage multi-invoice processes for large clients with multiple divisions

* Interpret client contracts to ensure accurate billing

* Liaise with account managers and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow

* Enter, reconcile and post daily cash receipts into the financial system

* Investigate and resolve on-account and suspense payments

* Respond to client and internal queries related to Accounts Receivable

* Print and distribute daily invoices, monthly statements, and copy invoice requests

* Maintain accurate records and provide admin support to the Credit Control team
