Job summary

Harris in Manchester is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our International Finance team. You will perform working capital and accounts payable tasks, and assist with month, quarter and year-end closings under the Assistant Controller.

The role requires 2+ years in Finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to adapt in a changing environment. You will work across multiple financial systems and support ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with changing environments and multiple systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable and payable tasks and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and working capital activities.
• Issue invoices, process purchases, and support revenue recognition.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and intercompany activities.
