Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the company’s operations.

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Recording and processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Preparing and processing payment runs, including BACs and CHAPS transmissions.
  • Managing procurement card transactions and employee expense claims.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
  • Preparing sundry sales invoices and managing petty cash systems.
  • Supporting month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborating with internal departments like Procurement, HR, and Admin to provide financial insights and resolve queries.

We would love to see your CV if you have the following:

  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and VAT
  • Proficiency in computerised financial systems and spreadsheets
  • Experience in purchase ledger management and general accounting
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management
  • Ability to drive and own vehicle due to location

This is a full-time fixed term position for 12 months working in a stunning location within the Eryri mountain range near Llanberis, Gwynedd. Working 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, with an early finish on a Friday. Offering a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience.
