Finance Assistant


up to £15.38ph d.o.e, NN14 2QS, immediate start, Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm (part-time hours would be considered if required), Parking, 3 month temp assignment


Due to continued successful, a Head Office of a UK based multi-site production company has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join them. You will provide support to the Finance Manager and to customers:



  • Answering incoming calls and responding to email enquiries for the finance team

  • Matching invoices with proof of deliveries for raw materials, processing for payments, queering any discrepancies

  • Posting cash, supplier and bank payments

  • Assisting with credit control if required

  • Compiling hours from TMS and processing for monthly payroll run, breaking down costings for each department

  • Providing administration support as required, to ensure a smooth daily operation for the finance team


We would expect the successful Finance Assistant to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and sage, be an excellent communicator and have an excellent eye for detail. You will supported to to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within accounts assisting, finance administration or a accounts support position.


You will be joining the Desborough Head Office of a company that has been established for over 60 years, and has an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly with the Finance Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
