Farrer Barnes Limited is recruiting a School Finance Assistant for a long-established school in the Tonbridge area to join the finance team on a temporary basis for at least four months. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage the day-to-day invoicing cycle, process payments, post journals and reconcile the school bank accounts, with scope to work on budget reporting and month-end closing.
Experience with PS Financials is essential, as is AAT qualification (part or full).

Working under the close tutelage of the Finance Manager, this role will oversee the day-to‑day invoicing cycle for the school, including all relevant financial administration around invoice and payment processing, journals and monthly bank account reconciliations. Additionally, the role will give the opportunity to work on budget management and reporting, month end closing and ad‑hoc financial reporting.
It is imperative that you have experience in using PS Financials. Applications are sought from individuals' part or fully AAT qualified, with school's experience. The desire to learn and develop under the current finance team is important as there is long term development potential on offer with this role.
