Job description

Finance Assistant - 6-month Fixed Term Temp position with the strong possibility of a permanent opportunity.

Salary: £12.82 to £15.38 per hour, D.O.E. | Office-based role | No hybrid working | Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Overview

This is a frontline position interacting with teachers, parents, and management. The successful candidate will handle queries related to costs such as fees, school trips, and other charges, through face-to-face, phone, Teams, and email communication. An engaging, compassionate, friendly, yet firm personality is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the first point of contact for parents regarding all cost-related inquiries.
  2. Send out invoices three times a year.
  3. Manage credit control for non-payment of fees and other costs.
  4. Communicate effectively at all levels, both written and oral.
  5. Use IT systems including Sage 50, Microsoft Office 365, and the internal CRM system ISAMS (training provided).
Candidate Requirements

Candidates with either part-qualified status or relevant work experience will be considered. To qualify for the higher pay rate, candidates must demonstrate experience and skills during the recruitment process.
