Job Description


Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their finance department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role focuses on day-to-day financial administration and information processing. You will be instrumental in maintaining robust financial systems and ensuring sound financial information is readily available for management and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of a Finance Assistant

  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including monitoring outstanding invoices.
  • Process bank payments and account for all bank receipts and disbursements.
  • Perform monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Account for monthly payroll, associated costs, and liabilities.
  • Process and account for staff expense claims.
  • Manage monthly accruals, prepayments, and income adjustments.
  • Support the finance team in achieving KPIs and performance targets.
  • Assist management with financial needs and queries.
  • Review and improve financial processes for best practice.
  • Provide financial support for specific projects as needed.
  • Support annual audit preparation.
