A leading educational academy is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support the Finance Team. The role involves assisting with effective finance administration and ensuring a high-quality support service to staff and parents. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, alongside relevant financial experience. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague to join our Finance Team, who in turn, provide essential support to the staff and students and parents for the academy. The successful applicant will assist with accurate, efficient and effective support to the Finance Manager for the development and operation of the finance function of the Academy.
The Finance Assistant will play a key role in providing a high-quality and timely support service to teaching, colleagues and parents/guardians. They will ensure effective and efficient administration for finance processes at school.
What we are looking for
This role can either be all year round or term time plus 20 days.
Our academy provides a place for pupils aged 11-16. We are easily commutable from all areas of the North West with Swinton train station less than a 5 minute walk. We have a dedicated team of staff who build and share positive relationships and a caring culture with our wonderful students. This was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection (June 2024), where we were graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
