Altus Education Partnership, a growing and ambitious trust, is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our expanding finance operations.

About the Role

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial systems across the Trust. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Technician to:

  • Process purchase orders and invoices using IRIS Financials
  • Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
  • Oversee ParentPay and support trip accounting
  • Handle cash collection and banking
  • Provide frontline support on finance queries and assist in financial system maintenance

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in using financial or computerised systems (IRIS knowledge is a bonus)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • IT proficient, especially in Excel
  • A strong team player with great communication skills
  • Committed to the values and vision of Altus Education Partnership
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above are essential.
