Job summary

Thegreenhousegrowers in Norwich is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, cash handling, and maintaining customer accounts with a commitment to data accuracy and timely reporting.

You will support month-end close activities, monitor aged debt, and collaborate with other teams to ensure strong financial controls. The role is currently advertised as full-time but part-time applications will be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with accounting systems and Excel.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Raise accurate sales invoices in line with pricing, contracts and terms.
• Ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
• Allocate customer payments against invoices.
• Monitor aged debt and follow up outstanding balances.
• Contact customers regarding overdue payments professionally.
• Post cash receipts and reconcile sales ledger balances.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Produce aged debt and ad-hoc reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
• Support audits and collaborate with other teams.

Key Responsibilities
