Job Title:Finance Assistant

Salary:Competitive + Benefits

Contract Type:2 years

Line Manager:Head of Finance

The purpose of the Finance Assistant is to support our dayto-day financial operations.

Objectives:

  • Support the finance department by handling administrative tasks and assisting with financial processes
  • Provide general assistance to the finance team
  • Maintain accurate and up to date financial records.

Knowledge, skills and experience - Essential

  • High level of numeracy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel and Word

Knowledge, skills and experience - Desirable

  • Strong understanding of finance systems
  • Knowledge of charity accounting requirements
  • Experience with data analysis and variance reporting
  • Experience of working as part of a small finance team
