WSR is recruiting for a Finance Assistant for our esteemed client in Milton Keynes. Immediate start.

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Duration: Temporary - 6 months

Rate of Pay: £12.50 p/h

Reports To: Finance Director

Finance Assistant Job Overview:
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, collaborating closely with our finance team, and ensuring that all accounting tasks are completed efficiently with a focus on Purchase Ledger tasks.

  1. Reconcile closed projects.
  2. Record sales invoices in Gross Profit accounts.
  3. Update purchase ledger records in Gross Profit accounts.
  4. Provide purchase ledger support as needed.
  5. Reconcile corporate card and cash expenses.

Finance Assistant Key Competencies:

  1. Strong attention to detail.
  2. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  3. Proficiency in Excel.
  4. Experience with SAGE, Xero, or similar accounting software.
  5. A willingness to learn.
  6. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or purchase ledger management.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm, 3:30pm finish on a Friday.
