Join Farewill's Finance Team

Ready to kick-start your career and dive into the world of finance? We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our high-performing, close-knit team. You’ll report directly to our Finance Manager, work closely with our VP of Finance, and gain exposure to various areas of the business, learning about each in turn.

What you'll do

As our Finance Assistant, you'll learn the fundamentals of finance—from paying bills to processing invoices and more. You'll have opportunities to streamline and automate processes to improve efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Month-End Processes
  • Expense Tracking
  • Filing and Returns

Experience with these tasks is a plus, but not required. We're happy to support the right candidate in learning these skills (a quick Google search beforehand is recommended).

What's in it for you

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop deep expertise in finance within a fast-growing tech company. You'll be part of a lean finance team with ample room for growth and professional development.

What we're looking for

While experience isn't necessary, we value ambition, eagerness to learn, hard work, and attention to detail. After six months, we will sponsor your accounting qualifications through an apprenticeship program. Please note that candidates with a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, or those requiring visa sponsorship, cannot be considered for this role.

What we offer
  • A starting salary of £30,000 plus stock options
  • Hybrid working (minimum of 2 days/week in our east London office)
  • 28 days of annual leave plus public holidays
  • Regular team socials and company-wide events
  • An opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people's lives
