A leading agency in Westminster is looking for a Part-Time Financial Assistant to manage complex financial processes while supporting senior management. This role requires advanced skills in Excel and financial modelling, along with experience in handling secure information. You will work 16-24 hours per week, initially in-office with potential hybrid flexibility. Ideal candidates will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and confidence in managing complex financial tasks.
Location: Westminster, London (Office-based initially, with hybrid flexibility)
Schedule: 2-3 Days per Week (16-24 Hours)
Reporting to: Secretary and Director
Westminster is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to support both the Director and Secretary in managing and streamlining complex financial processes.
This role is not administrative or basic data entry. It requires someone who is comfortable working with large data sets, advanced spreadsheets, and financial modelling, while handling secure and sensitive information with discretion.
Support the Director with advanced spreadsheet work, financial modelling, and data organisation
Handle bank runs and manage transactions documentation
Import/export, clean, and present complex financial data sets
️ Assist in the upgrade of internal IT and data systems
Liaise with external consultants to help build and refine financial databases
Work with Sage and other accounting software systems
Ensure secure data management in line with best practices
Interact with high-profile clients and stakeholders in a professional and committed manner
A qualification or background in bookkeeping or accounting (formal certification is a plus but not required)
Highly skilled in Excel, financial modelling, and data manipulation
Experience with databases, secure systems, and information handling
Strong understanding of Sage and other accountancy platforms
Independent, meticulous, and highly professional
Ability to work in-office initially, with potential for WFH flexibility once established
Brings experience, attention to detail, and confidence in handling complex financial tasks
Is sharp, analytical, and comfortable working closely with senior leadership

Not a full-time office role - this is 2-3 days per week (16-24 hours total)
