School website: www.lancasterhigh.lancs.sch.uk Summary Central Lancaster High School, part of The Bay Learning Trust, is seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to assist with the administration and financial function within school, with significant focus on maintaining accurate systems, records and procedures for the school.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade A-C (Maths and English).
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience of school systems.
- Finance/Accounting related qualifications.
Essential Experience
- Previous finance/accounting and administration experience
- Experience with data and record management systems.
- Excellent working knowledge including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good organisation skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines.
Desirable Experience
- Evidence of successful team working
- Administration in an education setting
- Knowledge of school-based software, preferably SIMS, and Sage
- Working knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, codes of practice, and awareness of relevant legislation
