Qualifications

About the role:
Due to growth we are now looking for a Finance Assistant for the oversight of the finance provision for Cellular Agriculture Ltd. Based 1 or 2 days in our Huntingdon site this role will involve maintaining all finance systems, providing support to the operational team and identifying areas of improvement that support business development.

As a Finance Assistant some of the responsibilities will be:
- Assisting in Producing monthly managements accounts for review, accurately and consistently on time.
- Production of monthly expenditure updates from Hilton Foods on Shared Services Agreement spend.
- Bookkeeping, ensuring all accounting records are accurately maintained and accounts are regularly reconciled.
- Management of financial policy and procedure.
- Raising of purchase orders, invoicing and credit notes.
- Management of banking activity, including paying of invoices, payroll and expenses ensuring efficient and timely processing of transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecast processes, and ongoing monitoring of costs.
- Provide ad hoc and regular analysis to assist in understanding business performance.
- Assisting in preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Supporting of CAPEX and procurement process approval.
- Supporting audit processes.
- Other general financial administrative duties.

To succeed as a Finance Assistant, we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
- Accountancy qualification with experience working in services entities.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial issues.
- Experience with accounting systems, experience with SAP4 HANA will be a plus, expense systems as Concur and proficiency in excel
