Job summary

Pivot, a specialist independent provision with sites across Kirklees, Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford, is seeking an organised and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Central Team based at Dyson Wood Way, Huddersfield. Hours: 35.5 per week, with occasional travel to Leeds/ Wakefield/ Bradford.

You will support the smooth running of Pivot’s financial operations, assist with the purchase ledger and related admin, and help train staff as required, contributing to our mission to empower learners

• Willingness to train and advise staff as required.

Hours: 35.5 hours per week, all year round

Location: Central team role - based at Dyson Wood Way, Huddersfield, HD2 1GN with occasional travel to Leeds/ Wakefield / Bradford

In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with some traumatic backgrounds.

We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Central Team supporting all our Pivot provisions.

What you will do:

• Play a key role in the smooth running of Pivot’s financial operations
• Support with all aspects of the purchase ledger
• Assist with other finance and administrative matters
• Assist with the training and advising of staff as required
