Job description

About the role:

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to organize our company’s day-to-day accounting procedures.

The Finance Assistant is responsible for maintaining records for all transactions, preparing weekly invoice submissions, and processing reimbursements. If you have a background in Finance and knowledge of bookkeeping activities, we’d like to meet you.

Working location: Uxbridge, London (Fully Office-based)

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Monitor daily transactions and bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile accounts with customers and clear customer balances in a timely manner, and send reminders to customers regularly
  • Review and process reimbursements
  • Issue sales invoices, credit notes, quotations, and POs
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Participate in reviewing finance-related policies and procedures in line with the principles of HQ
  • Deal with any queries arising from unallocated funds in conjunction with external and internal parties
  • Support handling parts of the audit report if required

Qualification and requirements:

  • Preferably with 1 year of work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role (fresh graduates are welcome)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Time-management and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese language skills will be considered a plus.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
