  • Temporary - 12 Months Maternity Cover
  • Location - Hoddesdon
  • Salary - 30,000 to 35,000 per annum

Job Summary

A major haulage operation is excited to invite a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to its dynamic finance team based in Hoddesdon. In this pivotal role, you will help to maintain the organisation's financial well-being by collaborating with various departments to ensure financial operations run smoothly and accurately.

Duties

  • Assist in crafting insightful financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate financial records and documentation are maintained.
  • Process invoices, expense claims, and payments swiftly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and support our month-end closing efforts.
  • Assisting in conducting audits and compliance checks with the finance team.
  • Offer administrative support, including data entry and addressing inquiries.
  • Contribute to payroll processing as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous finance or accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong numerical skills and keen attention to detail are essential.
