What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

1. Processing supplier invoices and matching to goods received notes and purchase orders.
2. Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding payments.
3. Supporting monthly payment runs and managing associated paperwork.
4. Supporting the Financial Controller with reconciliations and ad hoc finance admin.
5. Assisting with general office and production-related admin as needed.
6. Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of a small but busy finance team.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Prior experience in a transactional finance or accounts admin role.
• Confident with Excel (basic formulas essential; VLOOKUPs/pivots a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail and a discreet, professional approach.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a small, collaborative team.
• Ideally available for 20–25 hours per week, spread across 5 shorter working days (not essential).
