Job description

We are currently seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to support our client just outside of Guildford. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a finance-related role over the summer period.

This role would be ideal for a university student looking for temporary work during the summer holidays. We are particularly interested in candidates studying Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline. You should be detail-oriented, organised, and confident working with data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing insurance claims and uploading them to the portal
  • Verifying data accuracy on spreadsheets prior to processing
  • Identifying and correcting errors
  • Providing general accounts administration support

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and working with spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous administration or office experience (desirable but not essential)
