Job summary

Kyowa Kirin is looking for a Financial Operations Manager to oversee the consolidation and reporting of financial results and manage day-to-day financial operations within the UK. The candidate should possess good Excel skills, experience with finance software is advantageous but not required, and must demonstrate strong organizational and communication abilities. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial transactions and reporting outcomes in a timely manner.

Job Purpose

Manage the consolidation & reporting of the Group results internally and to Parent Company (KHK)

Manage certain day-to-day financial operations of the UK businesses.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and analyse financial transaction data:
    • Check and input incoming invoices
    • Ensure invoices are properly authorised and coded
    • Query any discrepancies
    • Prepare accruals
    • Maintain files and records
  • Perform Bank / Cashbook input and reconciliation:
    • Pay suppliers and send remittances
    • Ensure all bank account movements are entered accurately and reconciled timeously
  • Produce month end working papers file:
    • Fixed Assets, enter new assets depreciate and reconcile
    • Sales Ledger reconciliation
    • Pre-Payments, release entries and reconcile
    • Purchase Ledger reconciliation
    • Intercompany reconciliation and agree to all other subsidiaries
  • Assist with the production of periodic reporting and analysis
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested
Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Experience using Finance Software package desirable not essential
  • Microsoft Excel / Word working knowledge required
  • Basic accounts knowledge useful
  • Good administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • Flexibility in working patterns to address peak time demands, to achieve Japanese and affiliate) communications
