As part of the Financial Operations team, you will provide key support in delivering the team's objectives. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service and supporting the provision of financial and reporting services for the department and stakeholders. Job Description

Accountabilities include:

  • Supporting Senior and Finance Officers in core accounting activities using the finance system and reporting tools
  • Performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate recording of income and expenditure
  • Producing invoices and credit notes accurately and timely
  • Maintaining customer account details and ensuring audit trails
  • Driving continuous improvement through IT and reporting capabilities
  • Reviewing and developing procedures for efficiency and compliance
  • Resolving complex enquiries and assisting team members
  • Liaising with auditors on account queries
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Participating in projects and service development
  • Understanding NHS Pension Scheme Regulations and relevant guidance
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety policies
  • Focusing on personal development and continuous learning
