Job Opportunity: Sales Ledger Accountant

Join our finance team as a Sales Ledger Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales ledger accounting who is looking to contribute to an efficient finance department. The position is full-time and based on-site in Exeter.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Timely and accurate sales invoicing
2. Prompt resolution of customer queries
3. Execution of direct debit collections
4. Month-end processes and procedures
5. Maintaining accurate data across sales ledger and AODB software
6. Statistical reporting of key sales performance indicators
7. Supporting the finance function with general duties

The Candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar commercial role and environment
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify invoicing anomalies
• Ability to build effective internal and external relationships
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Logical approach to handling queries and a commitment to high-quality customer service
• Working towards an accounting qualification or QBE (support for accountancy study available)
• Desirable: Aviation experience and/or exposure to an Airport Operational Database
