A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a people-focused organisation in Barnstaple.

We're currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established and supportive team based in Barnstaple.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' finance experience who is looking for a varied role, greater responsibility and the flexibility to achieve a strong work-life balance.

The Role

This is a varied Finance Assistant position, giving you exposure to a broad range of finance activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase orders and invoices
• Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Managing debtors and outstanding payments
• Processing and arranging payments
• Reconciling company credit cards
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Setting up money transfers
• Providing general finance administration and support
• Assisting with wider finance tasks and projects as required

It's a role that offers plenty of variety, so we're looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, isn't afraid to take ownership and is happy to adapt as priorities change.
