Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced Rental Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is a varied, hands-on role with involvement across core financial processes including invoicing, reconciliations, credit control, payroll support, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Enter and manage financial data within Sage 50
  • Raise and process sales invoices via CRM system
  • Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment runs
  • Submit and monitor direct debits and incoming payments
  • Track aged debtor balances and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist with monthly payroll processing and expense tracking
  • Support preparation of management reports and assist with audit readiness
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial policies
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounts support role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel (formulas essential)
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • AAT qualification desirable but not essential
  • Experience using a CRM or finance system advantageous
