Unit Audit Assistant
30 Hours a Week (Monday to Friday, negotiable working times)
£25,000-£27,000 per annum pro rata
The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring.
We are recruiting for a Unit Audit Assistant.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include:
- Perform audits of the Club’s 130 Associations (Units) cash books.
- Support the Unit Support Co-ordinator with VAT and bank reconciliations.
- Advise, support and train Treasurers of the Associations
- Assist in administering the payments/refunds of VAT from Units.
- Assist in the preparation of statements for Units for interest calculations.
We are looking for the following in applications:
- A good working knowledge of VAT
- Holding an AAT qualification or similar is desirable
- Having relevant and recent experience of using Quickbooks and in Bookkeeping
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Packages, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong communications skills, particularly in email communication
- A patient and supportive approach
- High level of attention to detail
- Right to Work in the UK is essential
