A leading company is seeking a Finance Assistant to support their growing team in London. This role involves bookkeeping, management accounts assistance, and various finance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and be working towards an accounting qualification. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop within a dynamic finance environment.
We have partnered with a specialist Lloyd's of London broker who are looking to bring on a Finance Assistant to support their ambitious and rapidly growing team. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role would suit someone with a background in bookkeeping or accounting within financial services who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
Supporting CFO with management accounts and FCA reporting
Handling employee expense claims
Reconciling bank accounts and managing client money for their MGA Appointed Representative
Processing premiums/claims and managing month-end close
Administering payroll and resolving cash/funding discrepancies
Requirements:
Strong Excel and (ideally) Xero skills
Currently working in an accounting/finance role, ideally working towards an accounting qualification
Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
Fast learner, able to thrive in a dynamic environment
