The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners and other leads, with opportunities to learn across the full finance function and develop under experienced professionals.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Finance Assistant to join our busy team. This is a key role for the team as it will provide cross-functional support across all areas of financial operations, including month-end, income processing, purchase ledger, budgeting cycles, and financial administration.

We are offering the opportunity to gain experience across the full finance function of a prestigious independent school. The Finance Assistant will support the Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners, Income Lead, and Purchase Ledger Lead, with responsibilities flexing across peak periods and as part of a planned cross-training and resilience framework.

The role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants exposure to a wide range of processes and the opportunity to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced professionals, and the progression along the career path that this will provide them.

Monday - Friday - 37.5hrs per week.
