We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Assistant to join our current Finance team. This is a varied and hands-on finance role ideal for someone with experience in transactional finance who enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
The role
- to ensure all financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations, are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
- to work as a key member of the team, providing comprehensive support to, and building effective relationships with, your colleagues, customers and suppliers
- resolve invoice and payment queries, working closely with internal teams to obtain relevant information
- manage customers and supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date records of supplier details and transactions
What you need
- proven experience working in a similar finance role within a fast-paced, busy environment
- experience with both purchase and sales ledger management
- strong IT skills and proficiency in the use of accounting software
- strong numerical and analytical skills
- outstanding organisational skills, with ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- experience of Accounts IQ or similar cloud-based finance system would be advantageous
- AAT level 2 qualification would be desirable, but not essential
The package
- Salary £27k to £30k per annum DOE
- 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
