Job description

We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Assistant to join our current Finance team. This is a varied and hands-on finance role ideal for someone with experience in transactional finance who enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy environment.

The role

• to ensure all financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations, are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• to work as a key member of the team, providing comprehensive support to, and building effective relationships with, your colleagues, customers and suppliers
• resolve invoice and payment queries, working closely with internal teams to obtain relevant information
• manage customers and supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date records of supplier details and transactions
  
  

What you need

• proven experience working in a similar finance role within a fast-paced, busy environment
• experience with both purchase and sales ledger management
• strong IT skills and proficiency in the use of accounting software
• strong numerical and analytical skills
• outstanding organisational skills, with ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands
• excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• experience of Accounts IQ or similar cloud-based finance system would be advantageous
• AAT level 2 qualification would be desirable, but not essential
  
  

The package

• Salary £27k to £30k per annum DOE
• 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
