Job summary

Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd, Didcot-based hybrid role, is seeking a Finance Assistant to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month-end activity. The role reports to the FP&A Manager and offers a generous benefits package.

You will work within a team covering FP&A, Finance Control, Commercial Finance and International Finance (USA, Singapore, Italy, China). The position emphasizes accuracy, timely insights and process improvement using technology.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Strong numerical ability and comfort with data analysis.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communicator who can work with people from different functions.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial reports used across the business, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Support annual budgets and regular forecasts with managers across the business.
• Assist with month-end close processes and prepare performance reports and analyses.
• Test and improve reports, systems and financial models for efficiency.
• Collaborate with international finance teams as required.
