The University of Oxford is offering an Apprentice Finance Assistant role in the Nuffield Department of Medicine’s Finance Shared Service Centre in Oxford. You will work on transactional finance activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier invoices, statements, and queries, using Oracle Financials.

Based in the Centre for Human Genetics, you will be trained through Abingdon & Witney College toward AAT Level 2 and Level 3 accounting qualifications, with full support from a busy,

• Evidence passes at GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
• Completion of Abingdon & Witney College initial assessment during application.
• Residential funding rules for Apprenticeship funding may apply.

Mansioni

• Raise and review purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Review supplier statements and resolve payment queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and use Oracle Financials.
• Report to Head of Financial Shared Services; work with internal customers and suppliers.
