Job summary

University of Oxford is offering an Apprentice Finance Assistant position within the Nuffield Department of Medicine's Finance Shared Service Centre. You will gain hands-on experience across transactional finance, including requisitions, invoices and supplier queries, while training towards AAT Level 2 and 3.

You will be employed in a busy, supportive team environment and will work to follow established financial procedures, reporting to the Head of Financial Shared Services.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, accuracy in finance processes.
• Clear communication with internal customers and suppliers.
• Ability to follow financial procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Raise and review purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Review supplier statements and resolve payment queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and use Oracle Financials.
• Collaborate with finance teams and report to Head of Financial Shared Services.
