Job summary

Thales in Crawley is offering a 2027 Finance Apprenticeship with progression to Level 3. You will join a busy UK finance team, study towards Level 2 Accounts Assistant and Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualifications, and gain hands‑on experience across reporting, forecasting and cost control.

The programme includes a permanent role from day one, full time hours, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants must have UK right to work and pass BPSS/SC checks.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 including English and Maths.
• UK work status: must have permanent right to work in the UK and pass BPSS/SC security checks.

Responsibilities

• Support finance teams with day‑to‑day tasks and projects.
• Help resolve timesheet and labour booking queries.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and cost/overhead/headcount reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting activities.
• Assist with cost centre reviews and management reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Support project finance activities including cost transfers and closures.
• Assist with journals, accruals, prepayments and corrections.
• Produce reports and carry out data analysis.
