What you'll do:
  • Gain experience across multiple areas of finance, including accounting, reporting, management accounting, governance, and risk management.
  • Work on financial reporting, helping to create and review financial documents that support key decisions and ensure compliance.
  • Support the audit and assurance process, identifying areas of improvement and learning about the regulatory environment.
  • Contribute to understanding investment strategies and financial controls within a public sector context.
  • Assist in tax management, financial analysis, and strategic business management activities.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that is always looking to improve financial processes and contribute to the long-term success of the pension funds we manage.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll:

  • Rotate through different areas of finance, gaining hands-on experience in various functions, including finance, accounting, and reporting.
  • Work towards completing a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Finance, equipping you with the qualifications and practical experience needed to further your career.
  • Develop your understanding of key financial regulations, governance principles, and ethical standards that underpin our work.
