About The Role

This is a Fixed Term contract for 15 months (duration of the apprenticeship).

Apprenticeship pay rates for this post depend on age. Please see below for the applicable rates:

Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates:

• Under 18 years - £14,874 per annum
• 18-20 years - £19,600 per annum
• 21+ years - £23,555 per annum

Level 3 Apprenticeship Rates:

• Under 18 years - £15,144 per annum
• 18-20 years - £19,871 per annum
• 21+ years - £23,555 per annum

We are looking for two Finance Apprentices to join our finance team. You will work alongside colleagues to provide shared financial support services to the providers within the group while studying towards the AAT Level 2 Certificate, with progression to Level 3 upon successful completion.

Qualifications:

• To undertake AAT Level 2, you will require Maths and English Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• To undertake AAT Level 3, you will require AAT Level 2 at Merit or Distinction grade and Maths and English 4/C.

What You Will Do

• Provide a customer-focused, responsive, and quality financial service supporting the finance team in their day-to-day, month-end, and year-end duties.
• Maintain and contribute towards developing the financial control environment by ensuring financial best practice is embedded, fully operated at all times, and documented, including implementation of updates to financial policies and regulations.
• Undertake studies towards the successful completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
• Comply with Luminate Education Group Financial Regulations and Procedures and maintain a proactive and diligent approach to fraud awareness.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• For AAT Level 2, Maths and English Grade 4/C or equivalent are required.
