Job summary

The Peak District National Park Authority is seeking a Finance Apprentice to support day-to-day financial operations while working towards a Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship. You will gain exposure across purchase and sales ledgers, expenses processing, and finance systems administration.

You will handle receipt processing, assist with general financial administration, and develop skills in Excel, Word and Outlook as part of a busy public sector finance team.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grades A–C including English and Maths or equivalent.
• Interest in developing a career in Finance with a Level 3 apprenticeship.
• AAT Level 2 desirable; administration or customer service experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process expense claims, journals and internal recharges.
• Support finance system administration and handle enquiries.
• Manage finance inbox queries and distribute emails appropriately.
• Process EPOS till receipts and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with other finance administration tasks as required.
