Job summary

Walsall Council's Finance Service is offering an Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprentice role. This fixed-term apprenticeship runs up to 18 months at 37 hours per week, with time split between workplace learning and training provider.

You will work with experienced staff across financial planning, budgeting, treasury management and reporting; GCSE Maths/English (C or above) and AAT Level 2 are required; you will study towards a related qualification and receive a wage and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above.
• AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification).
• Evidence of qualifications will be required prior to interview.
